Calling Her Home: Love Yourself

There’s something special about souls who continue to trust love even when they’ve been hurt. You know what pain feels like so you become determined with making sure others don't feel the same. But there is a struggle you face when you don't recognize the universe speaking to you. When you ignore the signs before you that stop you in your tracks to say, "How did I get here, again." I have always made the mistake of assuming everyone has the same kind of heart as me. Overcompensating by giving too much of my love to someone who doesn’t deserve it. You start to have these moments that appear when you question all that you’re doing. Am I doing something wrong? Am I loving too hard? Am I doing too much?

I’ve come to realize these questions are calling you home to you. Your inner voice reaching out to you. Trying to stop yourself and redirect your love and energy. These signs are there for you to finally stop and acknowledge you're giving your love to all the wrong people. These repetitive scenarios you keep finding yourself in are going to continue. Continue until you become so sick of this endless merry-go- round. The universe will continue to put you in these situations until you're willing to accept the lesson you are to learn. To prioritize the love you so easily outpour to others to the one who truly needs it. You. The truth is you can’t save everyone and not everyone wants to be saved. You can’t force someone to meet you where you are, to love you the way you want to. You can’t create someone to fulfill your idea of the potential they could have. The lesson is for YOU to learn. For you to direct that love you’re so willing to give to others to yourself. Because after all, at the end of the day the only person you have is you. You deserve to love yourself.
